Talking With Angels

First of all, I wanted to show you how skinny this boy's legs are.  I still can't believe they haven't picked up any bulk, since the rest of him has.  So cute.

Now, I don't like to disagree with doctors very often, but sometimes they just aren't correct.  A least when it comes to this matter, I don't believe they are.  Lot's of times when babies are having a REM cycle they smile.  Or they just smile when they are sleeping.  Doctors will say that they are smiling because of gas.  Well, I know what gas is, and I smile (no I laugh) about it when I am with my kids or my sisters.  But, I also know that gas can be so uncomfortable.  Painfully uncomfortable.  There was this one time, when this girl I know had to go to the E.R. for gas pains.

I have come to the conclusion that babies can't be smiling because of gas.  They don't know the humor of it yet, and if they are having the painful version, well, they just cry.  

Babies smile because they are getting their last minute instructions from angels.  

 So here is T-Bug talking with his angels.  It just makes so much more sense to me than the doctor version of babies smiling.

Listening intently on how to best push his mother's buttons, and then being so adorable, that she can't be mad at all.

Smiling because he can't wait to test this latest information out.  Such a fun little boy.

Little Blue Eyes

We went to the doctor today for a Mommy and Me visit.  Things are looking good for T-Bug and I.  He has gained some weight and now weighs 7 lbs.  He passed his hearing test on the left ear, which he didn't earlier, and is looking fabulous.
I am just feeling much better than I was about a week ago.  It's hard to believe that I would still be pregnant if he came on his due date.  How thankful I am for modern medicine!

Entering ... T- Bug!!!

Much to my excitement, my doctor said he was going to induce me early, in hopes that the pains I was having in my legs would lessen.  Not only that, but it worked with his schedule and Supremo's schedule.  So after a long day, we introduced our little T-Bug into the world!

He was born on Aug. 17 at 12:21 am.  He was 6 lb. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long.  We are so happy he is here and healthy.  He is super fuzzy all over.  The nurses just loved him.  It was really fun to have him in a small town hospital.  The nurses pretty much treat you like royalty.  They may get a baby once a week, but that is pushing it.  I had water and crushed ice at my disposal.  I am thinking that I may have to get one of those machines now.

Boppy came out for a very quick visit.  His work schedule just worked out that he got to see the kids!

T- Bug

I am still wiped out.  I don't think I have slept for days.

Diva and her new backpack.  It's awesome to shop the after school sales!  We got it for super cheap!

Supremo.  He is just as tired as me.  He took care of the kids like a champ though!

What I wish I was doing more of.  Sleeping.

Boppy's work trip included going to Cabelas.  The boys loved it.

As you can see.  She didn't get her hair done the other day.

One of my favorite things in the whole world!

The guys at Cabelas were so awesome to the boys.  They took a bow out of its package and let them just shoot.  It was Chief's first time.  I dunno how things went.  We decided it would probably be better if the Diva didn't stay to watch.

Old pro Noodle.  He did this at scout camp.  He even hit the Buck.

Getting ready for their trip to Boppy's house.  They will be there for two weeks.  Not to worry about school.  There are things planned, and I sent stuff for them to do.  They are so excited. 

We don't know who he looks like yet.  A bit of everyone.  Although he does have my chicken legs.

He does have long toes though.

2 More weeks

My dear friend asked when I was going to post a photo of me expecting a baby.  This is not a photo of me pregnant as of right now.  This is the only picture in existence of me expecting a baby (The only one that I know of).  This is a photo of me when I was 8 months along with the Diva.  Why is there only one, well I will tell you.

I do not like being pregnant.  At all.  From they day I find out, up until I am in the labor and delivery room I don't like it.  Yes, I am truly blessed and thankful that I have been able to bring children into this world.  I love being a mom (Most days).  But, I don't enjoy the 9 months leading up to them joining our family.  Although I have been so much better emotionally with this little boy, I am still at the end of my rope.  Poor Supremo who has had to put up with all my negativity the last little while.
I know what you are thinking...You only have two weeks left.  Well, to me two weeks is two weeks to long.  I believe this is the way that I am supposed to learn patience, as there is nothing I can really do to speed things along.   This boy will probably be like the rest of my kids and come at 40 weeks.  Which I know is wonderful, but I still don't like it.  Do you have to?
So for all inquiring minds.  Here I am.  If I had a hair cut that I actually liked, maybe I would update the photo, but seeing as that isn't going happen until next year probably, this is what you get.

Plum Tuckered

It has been such a busy week.  The boys had an 'All sports camp'  this week.  They loved it.  They got to play basketball, floor hockey, soccer, tumbling, tee ball, dodge ball, and sockey (soccer and hockey mixed together.)  It was great as they got to spend 3 hours of their day playing.  The Diva and I just did house things.  Cleaning, laundry, nail painting, and watching movies.  

The Diva was so tired one day she just plopped on the floor and fell asleep.  I am feeling very much like I could do the same thing at the moment.  I am so tired.  (Probably not in the same position though.  I'm a little large bellied for that.)

She also decided that this would be a good time to get a fever.  Supremo and I had to cancel a date Friday night because of the fever.  She is doing better today, but wasn't better enough to go to 'ursery time (Nursery time) at church.  Poor girl.  It's her favorite part of the week.  

All Growed Up

 The other day the boys decided that they needed to help the Supremo with the yard.  It was a great evening.  While the Noodle took his first turn, (in the background) Chief and the Diva took care of the things they thought needed to get done.  (Climbing trees.)

 The Diva and her messy dinner face, except you can't tell because I finally learned how to fix those blemishes.  Woot!

Noodle's first attempt at mowing.  It was almost too much for me.  I just wanted to cry, I couldn't believe how grown up he seemed.

Can you believe I actually remembered to grab my camera.  While experimenting with it we ended up taking 250 pictures.  I found the rapid fire button and it is awesome.  The blog just can't handle all those photos.
