Siete

My handsome little man is 7 months now.  Still sweet and chill as ever.
He is loved by so many people
What he is doing at 7 months.

  • Still screaming when he gets excited!
  • Close to crawling
  • Trying and succeeding with a new formula for his skin!  (It's rather expensive which isn't the greatest.)
  • Loves his binky
  • Loves his Momma!!!
  • Enjoys listening to music.  Especially the Piano Guys on You Tube.  (His favorite is Peponi.)
  • Still has his own sleep schedule.
  • Still seems to have a big cranium.

I thought I had got him on a good sleep schedule for 2 days!  Two whole days we had a 3 hour afternoon nap from this little man.  Not today though.

He's just growing up too fast.

Next Time We Will Use Our Cranium

We had been waiting since January for a warm windy day.  (This was the beginning of March a little slow on posting this.)  The day arrived and we headed out to fly the Noodle's kite he got for his birthday.
It only took about 3 minutes to put it together and we headed out the door.  It was blustery and it was all the Noodle could do to get to the field without blowing away.  (We had sustained winds at 20 mph.  I couldn't talk him into waiting.)

We got it up quickly and watched with amazement as it glided back and forth through the atmosphere.

This photo is with my lens that can get close to things without being in their business.  The kite was far away.

If you can see the Noodle on one corner and the kite in the other.
Why the title for this post then?  It took me 20 minutes to reel the kite back in.  I was plum tuckered and had to take a break once we got it in the house.  We will not be venturing in 20mph winds anytime soon.

Sand Belly

We have still been enjoying amazing weather.  We went to the high school track today and played for a couple hours.  The kids loved playing in the long jump sand with their friend.  It's about as close to beach sand as we can get around here.

Beauty Shop Guy

When I found out I was expecting a girl (with the Diva, no I am not expecting another one.) I knew that she would probably have a personality of Junie B. Jones.  A children's book star.  If you haven't read a Junie B. Jones book, I would highly recommend it. Anyway, she is quite the girl, and yes.  I have a similar little girl.
Lately I have been finding her locked in my bathroom.  What has she been doing in there... Well her own make up.  She loves makeup. Lots of days we find her coming out looking fabulous.  The other day when I went to get her she told me that I needed to look pretty.
Here is the outcome.  Let me know what you think!

Gorgeous girls.

SIX

My little boy is six months old now.  Time is going faster than I would like to admit.
He is such a joy.  He has been with babysitters a lot the last few weeks.  I am so thankful he doesn't seem to mind.  Today is the last day he has to go.  Woo Hoo!
He still has a big melon.  We though he was going to level out, but seemed to gain in the brain.  His head is 17.5 inches.  Meaning he went up from 60% to 78%.  He is 26.75 inches long.  48%.  and he 16 lb. 11 oz.  That's in the 30%.  My growing boy.
He is teething.  I think he's been teething for months now.  Maybe we'll get to see something this month. He likes to eat oatmeal, rice, and barley.  In that order of likeness.  I am trying to make my own baby food when it comes to fruits and veggies.  So we have done broccoli and pears.  He's not sure about those.
He has a really high pitched scream.  He makes dogs look around for the source of the noise.  He loves to make himself the center of attention.
He still sleeps in his car seat.  It has turned out to be a great blessing with him going to other's homes.  He sleeps everywhere.
I can't wait for the day to be over!  Then we get to have him home all day!

Can you hold me please?

I am having a hard time.  I had surgery last Wednesday for an umbilical hernia.  The surgery went well and I am feeling great.  The hard thing.  I can't pick up my baby or his big sister.  It is driving me insane. I can't hold them for 1 whole month. Supremo is in Michigan. My branch family has been wonderful in helping me everyday and sometimes night, especially with T-bug.  I am so thankful to them.  Only 3 more weeks to go.  Then I can hold them again.

T-bug isn't so little anymore.  He's sitting up and talking all the time.

The Diva trying to wink.

Chief plugged our bathtub with a dishrag.  We had to improvise on Sunday morning to get the little ones ready for church.

Chillin' like a villian!

Just after her hair cut.  So many less snarls.

It got really quiet one day.  Too quiet.  The Diva decided that she wanted to do her own makeup.  Fabulous.
I am so thankful that my little T-bug has been willing to go to others and has even stayed the night at friend's homes.  We have been so blessed.

So Many Things

There has been so much going on in the months of January and February (Did you know that February is the most misspelled month?) we almost couldn't keep up.
The Noodle celebrated his 9th birthday.  I can't believe he will be in double digits next year.  He is growing up way too fast.
His birthday was sort of a bummer to start out with this year.  We were in Denver which should have been fun, but on the way home, Supremo and I got to chatting and missed the exit we needed.  A 4 hour drive turned out to be a 7 hour drive.  We will pay more attention next time.  Only 2 of his birthday presents were actually at our house.  Well, they weren't even at the house.  They got delivered to the neighbors.  So he didn't get any wrapping paper.  He also didn't get a cake until the next day.  What a bummer.  Noodle didn't seem to mind too much.  He becoming such a wonderful young man.  I just adore this boy.

For school we have been learning about Venus.  It has lots of volcanos on it and is really hot.  We made a small volcano to see how lava would flow.  It's in the back of the next photo.  We are so enjoying home school.

Our friend gave us a 'command center' that she wasn't using.  T-Bug really enjoys it.  He loves that he can stand up in it.
He is 5 months old now.  I can't believe he is going on 6 in a couple weeks.  He loves to do sit ups.  I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but he lifts his head and his feet all the time.
At a basketball game the Diva's hair took on a whole new dimension.  STATIC!
Such a cute little boy.

Chief was in need of a hair cut.  He didn't want hair like the Diva's.  Here is his mohawk.
He hates getting hair in his eyes, so as soon as the sides and back were taken care of, we used swim goggles.  It seemed to work!
This little guy's hair is out of control!
